There are many places in Scotland where the veil between the worlds is thin, and the power of the land is strong. They are recorded and remembered in story, tradition and in place names, and are often associated with ancient cairns, wells, stone circles and houses of the ancestors.
Meeting the spirits of the land in these places we receive healing, guidance and knowledge. Our deepening relationship with spirit assists us to play our part in restoring nature's balance, work which is vital to our survival, and which has been undertaken by shamans down the ages.
The methods and approach used by Spirits of the Land are founded upon classical shamanism with its cross-cultural emphasis, and ecopsychology which is based on the realisation that humans are part of and can be healed by nature.
