Dunino Den

East Neuk of Fife 16 – 17 June 2012

Dunino Den 1Through using the senses and the breath it is possible to still the mind enough to make a connection with the land.

This can enhance exploration of the outer landscape, and also be the start of a personal inner journey.

Participants will learn techniques to explore natural settings and power spots, and to experience the spirit of a place in a way that promotes insight and healing.

There will be the opportunity to practise these techniques in Dunino Den, a local power spot, and in other places in the St Andrews area.

Dunino Den is a leafy valley through which a burn (stream) flows. Two crags face each other across the burn – on one is cut a footprint and a stone basin.

It has an open generous energy that can give insight and inspiration.

Saturday will be a day for orientation, preparation and starting to deepen into the land. On Sunday we will go to Dunino Den itself. After spending some time there we will come together to share our stories, the seeds which we will take away with us.
