The Black Isle and Munlochy

23 – 26 August 2012

Black IsleThis workshop is based on the Natural Change process, developed to transform the sense of self into one which is a part of nature.

It will be held on the Black Isle, an unusual and beautiful area of the Scottish Highlands where sea, sky, hills and fertile earth come together in gentle wildness.

Where we will stay

We will stay and eat at the Old Brewery, a lovely converted eighteenth century building in Cromarty, a picturesque county town on the north coast of the Black Isle. Our indoors activities will take place at the Stables Gallery, a converted Georgian building which is a short walk away from the Old Brewery.

What we will do

We start with activities to prepare, slow down, and mindfully settle into ourselves and to connect to the land. This leads us into the heart and centre of the process, a dawn to noon “solo” time spent in silence, a chance to simply “be” in nature. Afterwards we share the stories of our solo time and begin to integrate the experience. Finally, before we leave, we visit the Clootie Well at Munlochy, an ancient site where healing can be sought and received.
