Travelling Between the Worlds

Abriachan 10 November 2012

Story-telling, Song and the Art of Shamanic Journeying

salmon1In Celtic Scotland there long existed an understanding of the link between this world and the world of spirit. In fact it was understood that the two worlds are not separate. The natural world is full of life and love, wonder and meaning. In other words, full of spirit.

The songs sung and the stories told round the fire are full of the beauty and mystery of the natural world. These old songs and stories are a gift to us from the ancestors. They link the two worlds together so the journey between the two can be light and easy.

In this one-day workshop we’ll listen to stories and songs of Scotland, and use the art of shamanic journeying to travel between the worlds.
